Town Hall Closed
Town Hall will be closed on Friday, March 29th in observance of Good Friday.
Saturday Trash Collection
Solid waste is collected on Tuesdays. An additional solid waste pickup is scheduled for Saturday, April 6th. Starting Saturday, May 25th, pickups are scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays through the end of September.
All carts must be curbside by 6:00 a.m. on collection days. Make sure to bag your trash before putting it in the cart.
Yard Debris Collection
Yard debris is collected on the second and fourth Fridays of April and May.
Debris must be placed in a biodegradable bag (not plastic biodegradable) or bundled in a length not to exceed five (5) feet and fifty (50) pounds. Each residence is allowed a total of ten (10) items, which can include a combination of bundles of brush and limbs meeting the required length and weight and/ or biodegradable bags with grass clippings, leaves, etc.
Picks-ups are not provided for vacant lots or construction sites.
Free Cleanup Week
County property owners and residents may dispose of all materials, except for regular household trash and hazardous waste at the Brunswick County Landfill free of charge April 15th – April 20th.
Metal, tires, electronics, latex paint, clothing, shoes, used oil, gas, antifreeze, oil filters, batteries, fluorescent bulbs and yard debris can be disposed of during free week but they must be placed in their designated area.
Businesses and commercial vehicles will be charged normal tipping fees. You must show proof of Brunswick County ownership or residency.
