I expect Holden Beach will be experiencing winds less than 50 MPH beginning late morning today through tomorrow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tides may be a little higher than normal but are not expected to be severe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please secure trash cans, furniture or other items that may be subject to this current weather event. I suggest attaching extra ropes to boats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rain could be as much as four inches today through tomorrow, Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Be careful on the Town streets as some areas may have several inches of water in the lower places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The utility services should not be threatened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bridge is expected to remain open. However, it will close during times of 45 MPH sustained wind speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I expect this storm to come ashore north of Holden Beach, leaving Holden Beach on the west side of it. This is the best place to be!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
