The Town of Holden Beach Board of Commissioners will meet Tuesday, September 19 at 5:00PM for a Public Hearing regarding a $5,000,000 loan for Sewer Lift Station #2 and for their regular monthly meeting. Mark your calendar! HBPOA and the League of Women Voters of Lower Cape Fear will be hosting Candidates Night Friday, October 20 at 5:30 at the Holden Beach Chapel. The League of Women Voters will be conducting this year’s event to avoid any potential conflicts of interest given that several HBPOA Board Members are running in this year’s election. HBPOA is only hosting the event. Questions will not be taken from the floor this year, but you can submit questions for the candidates to the League of Womens Voters at this email: HoldenBeachForum@lwvlcf.org
