Public Hearing and Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Follow Up for September 2023The Public Hearing and regular meeting did not occur due to the lack of a quorum. The Commissioners Meeting scheduled for Thursday has also been canceled.
Mark your calendar! HBPOA and the League of Women Voters of Lower Cape Fear will be hosting Candidates Night Friday, October 20 at 5:30 at the Holden Beach Chapel. The League of Women Voters will be conducting this year’s event to avoid any potential conflicts of interest given that several HBPOA Board Members are running in this year’s election. HBPOA is only hosting the event. Questions will not be taken from the floor this year, but you can submit questions for the candidates to the League of Women Voters at this email: HoldenBeachForum@lwvlcf.org
